Current Statistics Exhibit
One room is devoted to the current leaders in various categories - most home runs, hits,
etc. During the season it is constantly updated.
Awards Exhibit
Next to the statistics room are examples of the various awards that can be won.
Gold glove - given for each position in each league
for the best fielder in the league at that position.
Most Valuable Player - given to the best overall player in each league. Generally given to a hitter/fielder though occasionally to a pitcher - very likely the recipient is the best player on a team that makes the playoffs.
Cy Young - given to the best overall pitcher in each league.
Triple Crown - given if one player leads his league in batting average, runs batted in, and home runs.
Rolaids Relief Man - given to the best relief pitcher in each league.
Silver bat - given to the player in each league with the highest batting average.
