Nov 28 - Union

When I am home I like to stop by Union and see what's going on. Today was a very overcast day however.

The football field and phi delta theta, one of the many fraternities.

Butterfield (Civil Engineering).

Steinmetz (Computer Science) and the Peschel computer center - where I spent much time...

Prof Williams - CS prof.

Prof Traver - EE prof.

Prof. Hemmendinger - CS department chair.

Prof. Almstead - CS prof.

The CS Lab in the basement of S&E - where I also spent much time. Newer machines now, but same idea as back then.

Biology Storage - directly across from the CS Lab in the S&E basement.

Schaffer Library, the main campus library.

Nott Memorial - the only 16 sided building in the western hemisphere, or something like that.

College Center. Technically the Reamer Campus Center, but that just sounds silly.

College Center and Olin, the new science building.

Chester A. Arthur, Union graduate who became president.

Memorial Chapel.

West College (dorm) in front of mountains.

West College closer up.

Nott in context - College Center, Olin and Schaffer Library.

North College.

Yes, there were squirrels.

Olin. Yes, it really is curved like that with the bit that sticks out. It must be Art.

Inside of Olin, a.k.a. "Welcome to cell block B." (ghw)

Olin has a lot of problems, but water seepage is one I haven't seen before.

Olin - read all about it.

Science and Engineering - another place I spent lots of time.

The Idol. Paint it for some reason having to do with school spirit, pep rallies or something like that. No, really, its not a biohazard.

Achilles rink - where hockey is played.

The Idol used to be in front of S&E, but they put Olin there. They moved it near Achilles.

The fieldhouse.
