Thatcher is in the Heldeberg mountain range and provides nice views from
an escarpment. In the third picture downtown Albany can be seen.
Thatcher Park is scenic. This is a stream through one part of it.
I slogged up along the stream through foot deep snow for this pic.
Yes, the snow was reasonably deep. No picnicing today.
Not far from the park is this barn - decaying farmsteads
are common throughout the Northeast.
