Forest Park

Next, we returned to Forest Park in STL city - the last time we were here it was very crowded and parking was nearly impossible so we didn't stop to see much - much better this time around. A view of the art museum up art hill.

You can't do anything here.

Bird on a railing.

In front of the art museum is a statue of St. Louis.

Now that's the worst case of athlete's foot I've ever seen. He should try Hydra-B-Gon from D-CON.

This hangs by the art museum restaurant. Hangs by a very thin wire...

A new attraction in the park is the Big Wheel, presumably reminiscent of the Ferris wheel at the 1904 Worlds Fair, held in this park a century ago exactly.

I live that way.

Nice scenic view of I-40.

The mechanism.

The domes of both halves of the Science Center, and the bridge connecting them that spans I-40.

Downtown - the Arch can be seen behind that center building.

That's Clayton.

One of the Science Center halves again.

Yep, its a pretty big wheel, though its actually smaller than the Worlds Fair one.
